ACL Rehab Workshop by Physio Athletic — Rebuild your knee & get back to sport and exercise.

Join Physio Athletic on 30th May 2026 for an exclusive hands-on ACL Rehabilitation Workshop designed for anyone currently dealing with an ACL injury, whether you are trying to decide on surgery, waiting for surgery, recently post-op, or further along in your recovery journey.

This workshop is built to help you understand what good ACL rehab actually looks like and what standards you should be aiming to achieve before returning to running, gym training, Hyrox, football, skiing, rugby, or sport.

Too many people are told they are “ready” without proper strength testing, jump testing, or clear return-to-sport criteria. We want to change that.

You’ll learn:
  • What to expect during each phase of ACL rehab
  • The differences between surgical and non-surgical management
  • How strength, stability, confidence, and movement quality should progress over time

  • Why many ACL rehabs fail to fully prepare people for sport

  • The key tests and benchmarks used before returning to running, jumping, cutting, and competition

  • How to reduce the risk of re-injury and build long-term knee resilience

  • Whether your goal is to walk pain-free again or return to high-level sport, this workshop will give you clarity, direction, and realistic expectations for your recovery.

Join Us Saturday 30th of May 3.00 pm at  Sculpt & Sweat Studio, Royal Docks, E16

"If you need top-notch ACL rehab — Josh is your guy! I can't recommend him enough. I had ACL reconstruction surgery and faced several setbacks early in my recovery including back pain and inconsistent/inadequate physiotherapy through the NHS. I started seeing Josh 6 months post-surgery (had I known better, I would have started with him week 1). From our first appointment, he made a huge difference.

In addition to super tailored exercise plans for my knee, Josh provided pain management for my back the whole way (acupuncture and sports massage). Every time I had a concern or noticed something new during my recovery, Josh had both an insightful explanation and a helpful plan of action. The exercise rooms and equipment at Physio Athletic are top of the line. You'll have everything you need here.
What truly sets Josh apart is his ability to listen and adapt to your needs. I always felt heard, respected, and supported — something that, unfortunately, can’t be taken for granted, especially as a woman navigating medical care. His professionalism, expertise, and encouragement have helped me make up for lost time in my rehab. I am so much stronger and more hopeful because of his care."

PhysioAthletic reviews

"I can't recommend Josh as a physiotherapist highly enough! He's incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely caring. He makes sure each session works around my schedule. Plus, he's just an all-around great person! The gym is well-equipped with top-notch essential equipments for ACL rehab, which has been a huge help in my recovery journey. Each session feels like working out with a friend.
The whole gym/studio feels very welcoming and it has made my ACL + meniscal tear recovery journey post surgery less intimidating and I'm kept informed throughout each step of the rehab whilst also being listened to if I had any concerns or question at any stage. I started doing rehab with Josh from 1 week post surgery where i could barely walk to being able to run a 10k in less than 12 months!
It amazing to have such a great place to have physio in East London priced very appropriately! 10/10 would recommend."

"After my ACL and meniscus surgery, I had a lot of pain, swelling, and difficulty walking. Josh has been incredible in helping me regain strength, stability, and confidence. Their guidance is always clear, supportive, and tailored to my progress. I’m feeling stronger every week and couldn’t be happier with my recovery so far."

"I highly recommend Josh! I had severe Achilles pain for 18 months (limping, unable to run or jump, with constant stiffness and inflammation). Through a personalised plan that we regularly reviewed for the last 6 months, I’ve gone from not being able to jump or hop, to 16km road running in preparation for a half marathon. Thank you!"
